Service Contract Manager

Summary
The Service Contract Manager is responsible for achieving national targets for Service Contract (VSC) and
Maintenance Plan (MP) sales across the U.S. This role requires strong leadership in identifying developing
and managing talent as well as ensuring high levels of client and dealer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Grow Fleet and Commercial VSC and MP sales to meet national goals
Lead and oversee a national remote field team with accountability for performance and results
Partner with Market Directors and National Account Managers to develop dealer action plans
Collaborate with Client and MarketSource teams to present the Fleet & Commercial Service Contract
value proposition to dealerships
Ensure comprehensive onboarding training and ongoing development for team members
Conduct field visitsindividually with clients or with dealership personnelto reinforce process
adherence
Maintain accurate and complete activity records within Salesforce
Build and maintain productive relationships with client stakeholders and assigned dealerships
Participate in quarterly and annual business reviews
Communicate competitive insights and product challenges to the client promptly
Support consistent communication and adoption of program directives across field teams
Promote employee engagement and satisfaction
Hire and manage high performing team members and monitor attrition through KPIs
Lead project and initiative launches
Deliver regular updates and reports to program leadership
Complete all required training and ensure full compliance across the team
Review performance metrics establish action plans and drive execution
Oversee distribution tracking and retention of team resources
Gather market intelligence and translate findings into strategic recommendations
Partner with event planner at large internal or client meetings to include but not limited to badge
creation supply ordering and shipment of awards
Qualifications
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience managing remote field teams
Strong business acumen especially in Automotive and Fleet operations
Ability to train develop and motivate remote teams
Effective leadership communication and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational capability and ability to meet deadlines
Skilled in presenting to senior leaders and groups of various sizes
High personal integrity and ability to manage confidential information
Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
5 years in Automotive Dealership operations (Fleet & Commercial Sales F&I Sales Management)
Experience with Fleet & Commercial Accounts preferred
Travel up to 75% (23 weeks per month)
Valid Drivers License
