As an employee-owned company every team member has a stake in our success creating a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where innovation Summary:The Credit & Collections Analyst is responsible for managing customer credit risk and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable in a B2B manufacturing environment. This role supports cash flow margin protection and risk management objectives through credit evaluation collections and cross-functional collaboration. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Accounts ReceivableApply and post customer pay statements accurately and customer statements aging reports and AR to the general ledger and resolve short payments pricing issues and unapplied cash. CollectionsReview aging reports and manage collection activities. Communicate with customers via phone and with Sales and Program Management on payment plans and enforce credit holds. Credit ManagementAnalyze credit applications and financial statementsEstablish and monitor credit limits and payment termsMaintain credit files and reassess risk exposureReporting & AnalyticsPrepare cash receipt forecasts and collection customer deposits and credit month-end close and ad hoc analysis. Qualifications & Requirements:Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in accounting Finance Business or equivalent experience.2-4 years of AR Credit or Collections experience (manufacturing preferred).Technical & Analytical SkillsERP systems and advanced excel proficiency. Strong understanding of AR credit risk and collections. Soft Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in financial organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors customers and internal -solving abilities to resolve discrepancies and improve Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a to use a computer keyboard mouse and phone for prolonged to read and interpret information on screens and printed documents including financial reports and customer account to communicate clearly in person by phone and via virtual to move within an office and/or manufacturing facility as needed to support business to occasionally lift and carry office materials (files boxes supplies) up to 1525 to visit plant areas when necessary which may require walking standing and navigating stairs or industrial to work in a manufacturing environment occasionally which may include exposure to noise moving equipment temperature changes or other typical plant conditions (PPE may be required).ITAR Requirements: To conform to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) applicants for employment at PTA Plastics must be a U.S. citizen or national lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e. current green card holder) or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C.
