Were seeking a Marketing Intern to join our Marketing Partnerships team for a summer internship.
Road Scholar offers a remote internship for the summer semester May 11 2026 - Augusthours per week. Applications will be accepted through March 12 2026.
In this internship you will
Play an active role in the entire partnership marketing lifecycle from initial onboarding to fostering long-term success. You will help manage key operational tasks like invoicing and promotional giveaways while developing your partner management skills. Youll also contribute to our growth by helping create workflows compiling the quarterly reach report and researching future partnerships.
What youll do...
- Monitor partnerships inbox for potential opportunities
- Update partner calendar to reflect upcoming projects events
- Set up workflows for upcoming partner projects
- Send weekly updates to the team on current partnership projects happening
- Shadow partnerships manager on partner calls update notes in partnership tracker
- Manage invoices from partners
- Assist the partnerships manager with program giveaways
- Research future partners for marketing and tourism boards
- Assist in the quarterly partner report
You will learn or practice
- Budget/invoice management
- How to lead a creative meeting provide follow up action items
- How to manage a schedule with multiple different projects and stakeholders
- How to qualify and decide on marketing partners for Road Scholar
- How the giveaway process works and all of the different steps
You may be perfect for this internship opportunity if you are
- A junior or senior at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Design Communications Marketing or a related field.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Curious collaborative and excited to learn how creative teams work within a mission-driven organization.

Internship Details
This 14-16 week internship runs during the summer semester between May 11 2026 and August 7 2026 with some flexibility depending on your school schedule. The internship is remote 20 hours/week with flexible weekly schedule during business hours. A flat stipend of $3840.00 is paid for this internship. The stipend is paid at 50% halfway through the internship and the other 50% after successful completion of the internship. College credit where applicable.
