The Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) will see MOD Serco and their consortium of partners providing a Tri-Service recruiting solution which for the RN will commence on 1 Apr 27. AFRS will provide end to end support from candidate attraction to assessment to preparing to join Phase 1 training. The solution will utilise Service Personnel in high value candidate facing roles in the Command and Support Unit and in recruitment selection Under-Represented Groups outreach and the national career centre.

Conduct briefing sessions assessment selection exercises and interviews of candidates. | |
Evaluate each Candidate against fixed event exercise criteria. | |
Maintain and monitor selection processes to support & inform assurance and continuous improvements. | |
Make recommendations regarding the candidates suitability for a career in the Services and chosen role. | |
Ensure that accurate and relevant event and result records and observations are created and maintained for all OR candidates using AFRS system. | |
SME advisor on Officer assessment and selection pathway. | |
Line Management and Reporting Officer responsibilities as directed. | |
Share personal lived experience of life in the Armed Forces to engage and inform candidates. | |
