Position Overview:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact and creating a safe nurturing environment for those in need As the Manager of Group Living Services you will play a pivotal role in leading guiding and supporting our dedicated group living services team. You will uphold policies procedures and agency standards while promoting a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to care. You will work closely with participants clinical teams educational and vocational teams administrative staff funding agencies families community resources and other stakeholders to foster a supportive and comprehensive service environment.

Qualifications:

Education and Professional Certification

  • Bachelors degree in human services or a related field.

Experience

  • At least four (4) years of experience working with children youth and/or adults facing behavioral cognitive mental health or developmental challenges.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of management experience.

Skills and Characteristics

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide motivate mentor and support team members.
  • Expert knowledge of the issues that bring clients to Ranch Ehrlo Society.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Innovative program development skills including designing and delivering specialized training.
  • Ability to set clear achievable goals and meet both individual and program objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including effective presentation abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Services

  • Develop and maintain positive partnerships with the Ministry of Social Services Mobile Crisis Regina Police Service RCMP Childrens Justice Centre and Ministry of Corrections and Public Safety.
  • Create and implement individualized case plans for participants.
  • Encourage team input in individual and group treatment planning.
  • Lead the implementation of treatment plans ensuring coordination of documentation and communication with families funders and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic environment.
  • Monitor and approve the delivery of activity plans by the group living services team ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Ensure participant needs are met in alignment with policies including safety treatment medication administration healthcare documentation nutrition chores and hygiene.
  • Foster professional working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Co-facilitate weekly treatment groups with the clinical team as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to Behavior Management and Support policies.
  • Provide crisis response and debriefing follow-up and training.
  • Represent the team at planning conferences educational conferences and meetings related to participant intake transfer and discharge.
  • Engage in community events agency activities and other relevant events.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation in participant records and communications.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.

Leadership

  • Oversee the group living services team within their unit including recruitment performance management professional development and staff discipline.
  • Provide comprehensive leadership coaching and support for all team members including facilitating meetings overseeing training conducting evaluations and managing employee relations.
  • Ensure that all team members complete mandatory training.
  • Maintain adherence to agency policies procedures and standards.

Management of Resources

  • Schedule unit staff to provide continuous 24/7/365 coverage manage and update schedules approve time off requests and address staffing needs.
  • Ensure effective management of assets and resources including buildings vehicles and furnishings and coordinate with Property Management for maintenance and repairs.
  • Contribute to the development of operational budgets and plans and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets.
  • Manage timely resource projections and expense reconciliations.

Safety

  • Promote and uphold safe work habits practices and procedures.
  • Comply with all agency and government regulations policies and instructions.
  • Include health and safety objectives in departmental plans with clear goals.
  • Ensure staff compliance with established safe work practices.

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of all mandatory training requirements as per agency policy.
  • Possession of a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher drivers license with eligibility for coverage under the agencys commercial auto insurance policy.

Wage Range: $84489.60 - $109220.80 annually depending on experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance may be provided to the successful candidate.
