Job Summary

As a Terminal Operations Associate youll be part of a team that keeps bulk commodities moving safely and efficiently through one of the busiest inland ports in the country.

This is an entry-level opportunity with a clear career path competitive pay and outstanding benefits. No prior terminal or river experience required just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

What youll be doing:

Loading and unloading of trucks rail cars and barges along the Mississippi River

Performing general doc maintenance and cleanup

Inspecting cargo and reporting damage or discrepancy

Securing cargo and supporting crane and heavy equipment operators

Assisting with line handling and barge positioning

Following Zero Harm safety processes and procedures for a safe work environment

Schedule:

12-hour shifts: 6pm 6am during peak season (December May)

8-hour shifts: 4pm 12am during off season (June November)

Monday through Friday

Occasional mandatory weekends

    Comfortable performing physical labor (lifting climbing and securing lines)

    Candidates must:

    Have reliable transportation to and from work daily

    Pass a post-offer process of an offer is made (background check drug screen and physical)

    Can carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basis unassisted

    Must be able to read and write the English language
