Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team atBaltimore City Booking and Intake Center - Baltimore MD.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Substance Use Disorder) is responsible for conducting nursing practices and procedures relative to substance use addiction services/medicine. This person provides direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. He/she must be familiar with substance use treatment modalities and detoxification protocols.



Qualifications
  • Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care facility preferred
  • Two years of experience working as a LPN
  • Corrections experience preferred
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
