Job Summary
Meridian Mechanical Services LLC. is currently looking to fill a position within our Service team. Meridian currently manages all types of Commercial HVAC/R Plumbing Gas and Pipe service work. We are looking for a team member who is well versed in HVAC mechanics. This position will report full time in the field around Central Florida.
HVAC Technician Job Responsibilities:
Serving as a member of the Meridian Mechanical team to conduct HVAC/R jobs promptly and efficiently.
Performing routine HVAC/R service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to work under time constraints non-standard schedule weather and customers needs.
Ability to conducting non-service work in support of the construction team as assigned.
Perform related duties as assigned by the Field Supervisor or Operations Team.
Travel and or overnight stays may be asked by the Field Supervisor or Operations Team.
The Meridian Mechanical Service Team participates in a weekly on call rotation.
Basic smart device knowledge use of tablet and or smart phone daily.
Safe driving activities at all times.

HVAC Technician Qualifications / Skills:
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the Sheetmetal trade.
Knowledge of building codes safety regulations and safety practices
Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
Effective communication and personable skills
Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
Excellent critical thinking skills.
Diligence and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
3 years experience in the Service HVAC/R trade (required)
Valid drivers license
Must perform background check drug test and motor vehicle background.
Must have own tools (personal hand tools)
