Job Description:
As a Founding Engineer at Materi you will lead the evolution of our prototype into a production-ready platform. Youll take ownership of our TypeScript React and stack building custom agent infrastructure. This high-agency role involves translating business vision into technical architecture managing the product build-out and shaping the future of the engineering team.

What you will do:

• Lead the technical build-out of the Materi platform converting a TypeScript and prototype into a production-grade system.

• Architect and manage custom backend and agent infrastructure to support complex AI-driven workflows.

• Translate high-level product and business requirements into optimal scalable technical decisions and implementation plans.

The ideal candidate:

• Deep expertise in full-stack development using TypeScript React and with a proven track record of shipping production software.

• Demonstrated experience building or managing complex backend systems and infrastructure ideally within the AI or agentic space.

• High-agency individual with strong judgment who thrives in a 4-day-a-week in-office environment and is ready for founding-level responsibility.
