We are on the hunt for a super talented QA ENGINEER to join our studio in AMSTERDAM. Better known as the Youda studio.
From our studio in Amsterdam we supply the world with Governor of Poker 3 to players around the world.
We make games people cant put down. Thats our mission plain and simple. And with a team full of creative and passionate people we pull out all the stops to make it happen.
Our studio is in Amsterdam right by Schiphol Airport. Easy to get to by car or public transport.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a QA Engineer who thrives in a live game environment where priorities can shift quickly between testing new features and investigating real-time production issues. This role requires someone who is adaptable technically curious and comfortable working closely with multiple teams to keep the game stable and players happy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform functional regression and exploratory testing across multiple platforms (e.g. mobile web Steam)
- Rapidly switch between feature validation and live production issue investigation
- Monitor and investigate live incidents working closely with Support and other teams to resolve player-facing issues
- Reproduce and analyze bugs reported by players or internal teams
- Dive into configurations logs and game data to identify root causes of issues
- Collaborate with Support Game Economy and Liveops(Content) teams to validate changes and ensure smooth live operations
- Verify fixes in both pre-prod and production environments
- Participate in release validation and post-release issues
- Help improve QA workflows for a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS
- 36 years of hands-on experience in a relevant domain
- Ability to quickly context-switch between testing and urgent production issues
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Solid communication skills comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams
- Technical mindset: ability to understand game configurations backend behavior and logs
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira)
- Ability to clearly document issues including steps to reproduce and impact
- Comfortable working in a live service environment
