As an Aerospace Engineering Intern you will:
- Work with the latest cutting edge technology
- Provide creative solutions to complex problems
- Work with a team of driven supportive and highly skilled professionals
Responsibilities
A week in the life of an Aerospace Engineering Intern:
- Contribute as a member of an advanced technical team
- Perform aerospace modeling and simulation design test and development.
- Work with aircraft performance assessment modeling of aircraft dynamics and aerodynamics aircraft subsystems and various payloads subsystems for the purpose of flight dynamics flight controls and aerodynamics analysis
- Assist with the following:
- Design develop integrate and test aircraft flight control systems and autopilots
- Develop integrate and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems such as payloads flight control components and sensors
- Support lab ground and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics sensors and flight control systems
- May have the opportunity to work with programming languages (C/C)
Qualifications
- High School diploma and 1-2 years of college or related work experience
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43200.00/Yr. - USD $72100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
