POSITION SUMMARY
The PC Deployment Technician is responsible for preparing computers and related devices for deployment with imaging as the primary function. This position applies standardized images performs device preparation tasks ensures accurate documentation and supports smooth deployment operations
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all Secur-Serv requirements policies procedures and management directions
- Execute approved imaging procedures using standardized tools scripts and command sets.
- Apply asset tags and ensure all required information is accurately recorded in the asset management system.
- Organize stage and prepare devices for deployment according to project schedules and workflow priorities.
- Maintain clean safe and organized imaging and staging work areas.
- Communicate issues discrepancies or imaging failures to the Supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet quality productivity and deployment goals.
- Additional Responsibilities as needed may include:
- Assist with inventory updates and device tracking.
- Support device intake activities such as labeling sorting or basic checks.
- Provide coordinator-style support by helping monitor deployment progress or documentation
REQUIREMENTS- High School Diploma or GED
- Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn imaging tools and processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain an orderly workspace.
- Exceptional attention to detail in imaging documentation and device handling.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Basic understanding of computer hardware operating systems or software.
- Experience with asset management or inventory tracking systems.
- Previous experience in a technical warehouse logistics or device-handling environment.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sit Frequently at a desk
- Frequent fine hand and finger movements (keyboard writing mouse movement)
- Continual close visual acuity for reading
- Hearing and Speaking for communication within and outside of company.
- May be required to lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds for set up/movement of office equipment
