Job Description
As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and communicate clearly with employees contractors and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas yards and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and utility-restricted areas verify identification and/or authorization when required and report unauthorized entry attempts and/or suspicious behavior per site guidelines.
- Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs incident reports and maintenance or service requests using required systems and/or written logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A State County or City Issued Security License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
