Job Description
As a Security Officer - Patrol Lead in Boca Raton FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points respond to concerns and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering a strong customer service experience. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings production areas loading docks parking areas and the perimeter as assigned by post orders.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity by checking identification where required controlling entry and exit and assisting with vehicle and/or delivery traffic flow per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 or more years of security experience.
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
