We are searching for a talented RN for the Med Surg Tele Dept.
Hours: 36hrs
Shift: NIGHT 7:15pm - 7:15am
Location: St. Lukes Hospital - New Bedford MA
This department is a 33-bed unit specializing in the care of Oncology Palliative Care and End of Life patients. The unit hosts 11 semi-private and 11 private rooms. Chemotherapy competency is maintained by the RNs on Crapo through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). This is achieved by certification in chemotherapy-biotherapy administration. We also provide Telemetry monitoring for up to 10 patients. We take great pride in providing excellent patient care in conjunction with all members of our Multidisciplinary Team.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Three (3) months experience is preferred.
- Obtain Chemotherapy Certification within one year of hire.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
