Logistics Specialist

You will manage logistics and warehouse operations in mainland China ensuring cost-effectiveness while fulfilling customer demands. You will execute diverse logistics functions such as processing orders handling goods preparation receipt and delivery guaranteeing all transactions are completed on return for your operational expertise attention to detail and dedication to excellence you will gain valuable experience in a global logistics environment contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain and grow within a leading med-tech company. You will base in Beijing directly report to Head of Logistics APAC with a dotted line to GM BJ.

More about the role:

In this role you will be the operational backbone of our logistics and warehouse activities in China. Your core mission is to ensure efficient compliant and customer-focused logistics execution.

• Order Management and Procurement: Place purchase orders based on forecasts manage delivery schedules handle inquiries and coordinate with suppliers.
• Warehouse Management & Transport Coordination: Oversee warehouse and transportation performance manage inventory handle returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers maintain relationships with customer teams and ensure timely problem resolution.
• Operational Excellence: Formulate logistics strategies optimize processes support team members and ensure compliance with Chinese laws and regulations.
• Risks Management: Identify and mitigate logistics risks develop emergency response mechanisms and ensure operational continuity.
• Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate data in systems provide reports to finance and stakeholders and support audit activities.

More about you:

• At least 4 years of experience in warehouse and transportation logistics
• Minimum bachelors degree in logistics supply chain business or related field.
• Proven ability to manage logistics operations with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Chinese customs regulations and experience with customs brokers and forwarders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
