DescriptionProvides the best possible nursing care by planning organizing and directing the nursing functions of patients on various nursing units as needed.
Responsibilities- Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients individual needs based on medical conditions (adolescents young adults middle-aged and geriatric) limitations and planned procedures.
- Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR.
- Advanced resuscitation as per the areas requirement preferred.
- Classified as a specialty skills area.
- Must be willing to rotate shifts days off and work area.
- May occasionally be required to work overtime.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited program in nursing.
Previous experience in general duty nursing emergency department or critical care preferred but not required.
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
