Job Summary

WHO YOULL WORK WITH

The Specialist reports to the Japan EKIN Manager and partners closely with the EKIN and Marketing teams to prioritize seasonal opportunities. They collaborate across Account Training & Delivery Marketplace and Retail Operations while managing external vendors. The role also works with Legal and Communications to ensure alignment and compliance across all initiatives.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales customer service mentoring or instruction.

  • Bachelors degree in any field or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training.

  • Proven ability to connect and inspire people lead engaging meetings and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Demonstrated capability to foster a culture of continuous learning applying consumer insights to strategy planning and content development.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.

WHAT YOULL WORK ON

You will serve as Nikes product authority transforming innovations and brand stories into meaningful immersive experiences. Youll inspire retail teams and athletes through education storytelling and tools that strengthen product knowledge and fuel connection.

  • Develop locally relevant seasonal plans aligned with city or geo marketing teams.

  • Create experiential training sessions across multiple formatsincluding video virtual and in-personthat energize Retail Associates.

  • Visit retail stores at least once a week to stay connected to the marketplace and athlete experience.

  • Share insights with marketing teams on consumers products competition and emerging trends.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure training content reflects Nikes brand voice and athlete-first philosophy.

  • Support execution of training events with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness through feedback and data.
