What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks parking areas and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity unsecured doors and/or potential hazards; working conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor entry processes including checking identification issuing temporary badges and/or directing traffic flow in accordance with site rules.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity incidents and/or policy violations and communicate observations to supervisors and client contacts to support follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement military and/or corrections experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
