As a Security Officer - Patrol in Westfield NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with professional customer service. You will document observations communicate clearly with site teams and respond to issues with a calm people-first approach. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances waiting areas and other assigned posts; assist with visitor direction wayfinding and de-escalation support when needed.
• Document security-related observations incidents and patrol activity in written reports and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
