Position Overview
The Medical Assistant will support both clinical and administrative functions ensuring a seamless and elevated experience for patients. The ideal candidate brings professionalism cultural sensitivity and a genuine passion for caring for adults and older patients in a personalized care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients warmly and create a comfortable supportive environment
Manage incoming calls schedule appointments and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism
Room patients obtain vital signs and update medical records accurately
Perform phlebotomy and prepare laboratory specimens
Conduct EKGs
Assist with medication management and prior authorizations
Maintain accurate documentation within the EHR system
Provide administrative support including record management and documentation
Maintain a clean organized clinical space in compliance with safety standards
Collaborate directly with the physician to support coordinated high-touch care delivery
Qualifications
Experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care or outpatient setting
Strong phlebotomy skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Comfort working in a boutique relationship-driven medical practice
Familiarity with EHR systems preferred
