Job summary
The Escalations and Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving customers as well as internal escalations from DigiCerts technical organizations (e.g. Technical Support Validation and Operations)
This position is the key liaison between DigiCerts Support Validation Engineering Operations PKI Ops PM and Sales/SE departments to resolve technical escalations. The ideal candidate must therefore have excellent problem-solving skills a strong technical background as well as excellent written verbal communication skills.
What you will do
- Troubleshooting and providing fix hints at the code or database level
- Implementing tools for both internal and external customers
- Reviewing new products usability supportability quality and documentation
What you will have
- Bachelors Computer Sciences Degree or equivalent
- Fluency in Japanese reading and writing
- 3 years of Backline Support and/or Software Development experience
- Experience in supporting applications on Linux Windows and mobile platforms
- Experience in developing algorithms
- Experience in PKI
- Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol and Web development
- Experience in RDBMS/SQL
- Knowledge of Web Servers VPN Network protocols and hardware/software integration
- Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
- Excellent written verbal communication skills as well as technical presentation skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as a team member
