TI has a dynamic internship p program for undergraduate students looking for accounting. Our interns go right to work! You will be a contributor not a trainee as you become familiar with the companys business systems and methods of operations.
As a Texas Instruments Business Operations Intern you will apply the skills gained through your college experiences while also gaining valuable business technical and life skills. Intern opportunities are available across the spectrum of business and operations functions.
Your internship project will be focus on support finance team executing and control accounting movements improve existing processes through automation and efficiency.
- Accounting: Analyzing business cost trends; updating semiconductor pricing for internal transfers; understanding research and development (R&D) expenses and trends and comparing them to forecasts/estimates; and performing monthly journal entries and reconciling accounts.
Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.
QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting or related business field.
- Student of last year or semesters before graduate.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success both internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
