About the Team

This is part of the core team that develops cloud software to discover organize analyze and secure various cloud infrastructures. There is a great opportunity to deliver learn and grow as this small team is rapidly growing and delivering many impactful features.

#LifeAtProofpoint as a Strategic Partner Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Current Product Engineer (CPE) who is responsible for maintaining and improving quality reliability and delivery of current product features. The CPE engineer helps with the customer issues reported from the field by triaging and addressing them with the required changes. The CPE role is also responsible for providing feedback to new product development teams to improve quality/reliability of future products. The role is a combination of software development quality assurance and technical support with a primary focus on making the existing products function well for customers

What you bring to the team
4 years of development experience in Python or NodeJS is preferred

Experience in debugging production issues is a must Expertise in public cloud compute and networking with hands-on experience in at least one of the following: AWS GCP or Azure.

Proven experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or JavaScript.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced innovative environment.

Adaptability and a keen interest in staying current with new technologies and evolving industry trends.

Understanding of github and experience with CI/CD pipelines including the setup and management of automated build test and deployment workflows

Prior experience in testing SaaS security products is a plus

Experience in debugging complex products and building monitoring dashboards is preferred
