Job Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (FO) Commerce Developer to join our growing team in Portugal. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations specifically in Commerce / Retail modules and a passion for delivering high-quality scalable solutions. This role involves development customization integration and support of e-commerce and retail solutions.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement solutions within Dynamics 365 FO Commerce / Retail modules.
- Customize and extend Commerce functionality including POS e-commerce channels and loyalty programs.
- Integrate D365 FO Commerce with third-party systems such as payment gateways ERP and e-commerce platforms.
- Participate in requirement analysis solution design and technical documentation.
- Support deployments migrations and upgrades of D365 FO Commerce modules.
- Collaborate with functional consultants project managers and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Commerce and Retail environments.
- Stay up-to-date with latest D365 Commerce features tools and best practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a D365 FO Commerce / Retail Developer.
- Strong knowledge of X programming language C# .NET and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Commerce Engine POS e-commerce and Retail channels.
- Experience with integrations (APIs Web Services Data Entities OData).
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- English proficiency (spoken and written); Portuguese is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in cloud deployments and Azure services.
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate).
- Experience in Agile or Scrum project environments.
