Job Summary
Overview
Do you have 2 years of Navy Logisitics Information Systems experience and a Secret Clearance AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a SPIR Coordinator to support HM&E testing in Norfolk VA. This position is hybrid remote/on-site.
Responsibilities
- Provide Administrative support services to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms.
- Specialize in System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR)Coordination support for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
- Accurately Input handwritten SPIR reports into the approved NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool
- Continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database
- Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer
- Utilization of SPIR Tracking Sheets and Databases to meet SURFMEPP product value stream by working closely with:
- Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Modernization Coordination Office
- TYCOMM
- SURFMEPP Community / NAVSEA

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience providingSystem/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) OR JIRA R-Supply One Touch NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
- 2 years of experience in the utilization of tracking spreadsheets and databases.
- Specialize in Quality Assurance
- Active Secret security clearance.
Pay Transparency Statement

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
