The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/ this role the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.

This role is responsible for application support for Gate Driver used in Traction Inverter OBCDC/DC and Other power modules. Key responsibilities include:
Answer customer questions and supporting design-in activities for released products. This includes:
Reply email questions from customers
Schematic and Layout Review of customer application
Debug of customer problems by re-creating issues in our evaluation boards and/or customer boards
On-site support for customer board as required as well as for technical training and deep-dive
Write application notes that explain different use cases implementation and/or flexibility of our products
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineer or related field of study
- A minimum of 5 years experience in related field and of 3 years supporting automotive customers
- Experience with design analysis and debug of EV/HEV traction inverter OBCDC/DC and AC/DC DC/DC power modules.
- Basic Knowledge of Functional Safety or ISO26262.
- Basic knowledge of EMI/EMC automotive standards
- Ability to run simulations and create/ review schematics and board layout
Preferred qualifications:
Strong knowledge of traction inverter is preferred
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Demonstrated ability to build strong influential relationships
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
