JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Individualcontributorwithcomprehensiveknowledgeinthespecificarea.
Abilitytoexecutehighlycomplexorspecializedprojects.
Adaptsprecedentandmaymakesignificantdeparturesfromtraditionalapproachestodevelopsolutions.
Responsiblefordevelopingcommunicatingimplementingenforcingandmonitoringsecuritycontrolstoprotecttheorganisationstechnologyassetsfromintentionalorinadvertentmodificationdisclosureordestruction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Performsallproceduresnecessarytoensurethesafetyofinformationsystemsassetsandtoprotectsystemsfromintentionalorinadvertentaccessordestruction.
Ensuresthatusercommunityunderstandsandadherestonecessaryprocedurestomaintainsecurity.
Mayrequirefamiliaritywithdomainstructuresuserauthenticationanddigitalsignatures.
Conductsaccurateevaluationofthelevelofsecurity.
Requiresanunderstandingoffirewalltheoryandconfiguration.
Hasin-depthknowledgeofintrusiondetectionandInternetarchitecture.
Mustbeabletoweighbusinessneedsagainstsecurityconcernsandarticulateissuestomanagement.
Maycoachorprovideguidancetolower-levelsecurityprofessionals.
