JHS Flag and Color Guard Sponsor

Part-time / Hourly / Seasonal

2025-2026

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To provide students with the meaningul opportunities to participate in the auxiliary activities of a marching band (flag and color guard).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule attend and supervise all practices meetings performances training camps and contests.
Support and teach choreography and fundamental skills.
Support organization and fundraising including Kiddie Camp in mid July.
Maintain and care for equipment and uniforms.
Maintain friendly and cooperative partnerships between students parents and staff.
Adhere to all policies and procedures.

KEY DATES AND EVENTS (Required Attendance)

Weekly practices during football season typically Wednesdays.
JHS Home football games and pep rallies are on Thursdays.
Spring Tryouts occur in April or May.
Kiddie Camp occurs in mid-July.
Student camp occurs in early August.
