Senior Lead, CMDB Engineer

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL v3/v4 Certification (Foundations or higher).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and cloud resource discovery.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as: APM (Application Portfolio Management) HAM/SAM Pro CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Experience with API integration frameworks such as REST SOAP or message queues.
• Familiarity with automation and DevOps SRE or infrastructure automation tools

Minimum Qualifications

Work experience of 7-10 years; Masters Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

• 7 years working with ServiceNow CMDB in medium to large enterprises supporting 10000 users
• Strong understanding of: ServiceNow data model CI classes and relationships discovery patterns & probes Service Mapping and dependency mapping
• Expertise in creating and managing data taxonomy CI lifecycle and inventory processes.
• Proven experience in integrating CMDB with infrastructure cloud and endpoint systems.
• Strong skills in data quality management reconciliation rules and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) best practices
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and its relationship with CMDB.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience building dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and application of AI in IT operations (e.g. anomaly detection classification enrichment).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive change across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
