Job Summary
Trident Consulting is seeking a Senior Engineer IV for one of our client in Pomona CA. A global leader in business and technology services.
Position: Senior Engineer IV
Location: Pomona CA - Hybrid onsite two days (Wed & Thurs)
Duration: Contract
Rate: $111/Hr. on W2
Required Skills/Attributes
- Technical Leadership: Lead civil engineering efforts across all project phasesscoping design cost estimation scheduling and construction support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (project management construction environmental real estate) and external agencies.
- Field Engagement: Conduct job walks and provide engineering construction support across diverse geographical areas for Transmission Substation and Distribution facilities. Can be 12 field days per week based on business need.
- Contractor Oversight: Manage civil engineering consultantsdefine scopes review proposals ensure quality and maintain schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Perform QA for consultant deliverables peer reviews manage purchase orders and approve invoices.
- Permitting & Compliance: Secure necessary permits and approvals from local jurisdiction agencies for civil engineering scope and work with business partners to support state federal and other agency approvals
- Project Management: Balance multiple project schedules provide technical leadership for civil engineering scope monitor budgets and provide proactive communication with key stakeholders.
- Safety: Embed safety into engineering designs and promote a safety-first culture both in the office and on-site.
Desired Skills/Attributes
- Experienced in land development for electrical substation facilities and transmission access in varied terrain
- Familiarity with road and highway design
- Familiarity with storm damage response and mitigation
- Skilled in contractor management and purchase order oversight
- Knowledge of California permitting processes
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience with ArcGIS
