Assistant Manager Golden Beach Tavern
Ready to lead one of the Sunshine Coasts most iconic family hotels The Golden Beach Tavern is looking for a high-energy floor-owning Assistant Manager who thrives in a busy community-focused environment and loves the buzz of a packed house.
The GBT is a suburban giant. Between our massive family bistro high-octane sports bar and premier gaming lounge there is never a dull moment. We are looking for a leader who thrives in the thick of the action someone who loves being on the floor connecting with our regulars and keeping the team motivated through a massive weekend rush.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- Youve been around the bar bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA/RSG RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
