The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/ this role the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.

This role is responsible for application support for Multiphase Processor Power used in data center server and telecom equipment
Primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with sales to grow TIs analog revenue with a targeted customer
• Work with the sales team to prioritize and target key and emerging accounts for TI growth opportunities

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in EE/Comp Eng or comparable
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CPUs GPUs SoCs and ASICs multiple phase power supply design and related PSU design field.
• Familiar with VR14 SVI3 PWMVID AVSBus and PMBus1.4 protocol etc.
• Understanding of power supply topology and control law familiar with TLVR technologies.
• Experience with design analysis and debug of related circuits or sub-systems
• Ability to run simulations and create/ review schematics and board layout
• Ability to help customers debug board level issues
