Role Definition

Be a part of the Underground Technology Engineering Team anddrive the architectural design automation strategy and implementation of CI/CD pipelines cloud infrastructure and monitoring systems of centralized software build infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Defines the DevOps roadmap CI/CD and infrastructure automation strategies (IaC) to align with business goals.
  • Develops self-service solutions automated testing and deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
  • Mentors DevOps engineers conducts code reviews for IaC and sets best practices for monitoring and alerting.
  • Acts as the bridge between development QA and operations ensuring cohesive workflows
  • Scope includes Jenkins server application and job configurations including build agents.
  • Maintaining performance and reliability of existing builds Design and implementation of new builds.
  • Working with product owner scrum master and others to prioritise and schedule team deliverables
  • To build engineers to grow their capacity to perform high quality and efficient work with our software build systems
  • Monitoring and ensuring ongoing health of build infrastructure where scope includes VM performance and availability system administration of server operating systems integration with enterprise systems and continued execution of software builds.


Degree Requirement
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering
