Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Data Scientist to join our Global Finance Analytics CoE (GFA) team. GFA is a crucial element of Finances strategy to become more strategic and integrated function while being more agile in building and deploying data analytics planning forecasting and modeling capabilities and solutions on a global scale.

This role will focus on leveraging data and analytical tools strategic thinking and hypothesis-based analysis to enhance financial forecasting risk modeling and strategic planning. You will work closely with finance leaders cross-functional SMEs and technology teams to build predictive models and deliver actionable insights that drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern responsive web applications using React.
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality reusable and scalable components.
Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing applications.
Contribute to frontend architecture and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

-Develop and deploy predictive models to support financial planning budgeting and forecasting

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends anomalies and opportunities for cost optimization and top-line growth

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance HR Sales Ops and IT to align data science initiatives with business goals

- Proactively mines data lakes / warehouses to identify trends and patterns and generates insights for business units and senior leadership

- Design and implement machine learning algorithms for financial risk assessment and scenario analysis

- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders using tools like Power BI or Tableau

- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards

- Contribute to the development of data products and automation tools that enhance financial decision-making
