Temporary Full-time Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Temporary Teacher at St. Jeromes School in Vermilion Alberta commencing in March 2026. The successful candidate will serve as the schools Complexity Teacher. Preference will be given to candidates with related teaching experience.

The role of a Complexity Teacher focuses on targeted interventions and skill development for students who require additional support. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff to strengthen foundational academic self-regulation and learning readiness skills that contribute to long-term student success.

Key Areas of Support

The Complexity Teacher will provide targeted support in the following areas:

Supporting elementary students with foundational numeracy and literacy by closing learning gaps through small skill-like groups and possible push-in classroom support
Supporting social-emotional learning
Regulation and Executive Functioning
Assisting students with self-regulation organization attention and readiness for learning.
