Job Summary
As the Network Engineer you will:
- Prepare review and execute technical implementation plans that deliver integrated solutions including defined actions milestones timelines and critical paths.
- Resolve technical issues related to the installation upgrade and sustainment of network hardware and systems.
- Interface with customers vendors and technical teams to analyze business and technical requirements and support activities such as new circuit establishment.
- Develop document and present technical briefings engineering standards SOPs technical guidance and status reports to senior leadership.
- Support network architecture and engineering design efforts by evaluating emerging technologies collaborating with partners to de-conflict efforts and providing recommendations to improve efficiency operability and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 8 years of prior experience or Masters degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
- IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CCNA Security CySA GICSP GSEC Security CND SSCP)
- Experience developing solutions and troubleshooting the following vendors and technologies:
- Cisco Switches and routers
- S2S connections
- DMVPNs
- Advanced routing BGP
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- AWS Networked design and implementations.
- Virtual Private Cloud (VPCs)
- Route 53
- Amazon Firewall Services
- Cisco Switches and routers
- Ability to translate highly technical matter to non-technical audience
- Technical depth in network services and architecture (WAN/LANvirtual private network (VPN))
