Responsibilities

As a Junior Auditor you will support the audit team in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services. Your primary duties will include:
* Assisting in the planning and execution of financial and operational audits across various departments.
* Performing audit tests and procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
* Examining financial records reports operating practices and documentation to ensure compliance.
* Documenting audit findings workpapers and evidence in a clear and concise manner.
* Communicating audit progress and potential issues to the Senior Auditor and management team.
* Assisting in the preparation of draft audit reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
* Staying informed about industry regulations professional standards and best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background and a genuine interest in a career in auditing.

Essential:
* A bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related business discipline.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A strong desire to learn and a commitment to pursuing professional qualifications (such as ACCA or ACA).

Desirable:
* Previous internship or work experience within an accounting or audit environment.
* Familiarity with accounting principles and auditing standards.
