Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Rounds in East Saint Louis IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control respond to alarms and service requests and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. This post requires a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings hangars parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing badge use escort requirements and visitor controls and report irregularities according to site procedures.
- Document patrols incidents and maintenance concerns in written and/or electronic logs and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
