As a Front Desk Associate at Golds Gym Lake Ridge you are the first point of contact for our members and guests. Your role is essential in setting the tone for a positive and engaging gym experience. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service supporting daily gym operations and ensuring every member feels welcomed informed and motivated.
- Greet members guests and staff in a friendly professional and energetic manner.
- Check members into the system and verify memberships.
- Handle incoming calls answer questions about gym services and policies and route inquiries as needed.
- Maintain a clean organized and inviting front desk and lobby area.
- Assist with member check-ins and account questions and membership sales
- Manage retail transactions including selling merchandise snacks and beverages using POS systems.
- Monitor gym traffic to ensure member safety and proper facility usage.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and maintain accurate shift notes and reports if necessary
- Promote upcoming events training packages and club initiatives.
- Follow company procedures and uphold Golds Gym brand standards.
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
- Prior experience in customer service hospitality or front desk roles preferred.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Understanding of cash handling and point-of-sale transactions.
- Must be detail-oriented organized and dependable.
- Current CPR certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Must be available to work flexible shifts including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
