What are we looking for

The ideal Recruiter candidate will be outgoing goal oriented passionate and thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing a high volume of requisitions. At Intertek the Recruiter is a key role within the HR team responsible for the recruiting strategy for various jobs types across multiple industries and states.

*This position is expected to regularly work from an Intertek office 2 days per week and 3 days are permitted to work remotely. The scheduled days working on-site can be flexible based on your preference.

What youll do:

Strategically source target recruit and deliver highly qualified candidates using creative techniques and provided resources
Utilize various channels including LinkedIn and Indeed to network and successfully source potential candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Address critical openings proactively to ensure the support and fulfillment of key and strategic positions as well as strategically align with upcoming business initiatives
Create intentional job postings aligning position duties requirements and preferred qualifications to ensure appropriate candidate pool screening
Partner with HR team and Onboarding Specialist to assist with all hiring and onboarding functions as needed including application offer and new employee hiring processes
Help drive diversity recruiting strategies through creative candidate sourcing and assisting with a variety of recruiting events both in-person or virtual
Maintain applicant data to OFCCP and EEO standards and coach hiring team members to hire the most qualified candidate for each open position
Provide training and assistance to hiring managers on using the ATS creating requisitions screening and interviewing candidates and providing appropriate feedback on all applicants considered as well as support their knowledge of the overall recruiting process
Participate in other projects as necessary

What it takes to be successful:

Bachelors Degree in HR Business Administration or other related field or equivalent (required)
4 years recruiting experience related to our business (required)
Experience driving diversity outreach opportunities (preferred)
Experience working in both staffing and corporate recruiting is a plus
Thorough understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity obligations (required)
Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (required)
Demonstrate technical skills/abilities related to the job such as using social media for recruiting job boards Excel and presentation software
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to travel (minimally less than 5%)
