Shipping Receiving Clerks

Bilingual communications skills (English and Spanish) preferredThis position requires extensive proficiency in warehouse inventory management systems specifically Dynamics. This position requires lifting up to 55lbs regularlyThis position requires comfortability with long hours on computer as well as sitting standing bending stooping lifting and carrying products. This position requires comfortability in a range of environments from non-climate controlled warehouse to refrigerated to freezer environment. This position requires extensive experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management. 1. Assists the leadership team with communication such as:a. Inbound and outbound dispatch notificationsb. Meeting notificationsc. Shift schedule changesd. Pending items on the shorts reporte. Special instructions2. When receiving:a. Manages the inbound deliveries appointment calendari. Creates delivery appointments with vendorsii. Updates appointments as necessary and to ensure the delivery schedule is always setfor the next delivery dayiii. Communicates dock assignments and wait times to delivery truck driversb. Works with the leadership team to:i. Organize the associates workflowii. Verify bills of lading invoices and packing lists against received productiii. Maintain cold-chain logsc. Enters receivers into Dynamics including entering and verifying catch weights and expirationdatesd. Works closely with the Replenishment and Product Integrity and Repack teams to ensureaccurate receipts and the timely resolution of damages discrepancies and other issuesi. Proactively communicates issues via phone email and textii. Gathers evidence of products damaged during the receiving process; submitsdamages reports2. When shipping:a. Works with the leadership team to:i. Organize the associates workflowii. Handle miscellaneous communication with other departments and locationsiii. Handle external communication especially third-party carriersa. Participates in routing printing pick and load sheets (associates work assignments) andtruck/driver/loading area assignmentsb. Reconciles completed load sheets in Dynamics Enters weights; prints invoices; collates driver paperwork Investigates and verifies product shorts Verifies product catch weights (accuracy unit of measure) and expiration datesc. Periodically spot-checks (verifies) case versus piece counts Ensures product ordered by the case is pulled by the case Ensures product ordered by the piece is pulled by the piece3. Contributes to the team by performing other work as necessary
