Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Walking Patrol in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns document activity and communicate clearly with tenants guests and property teams while providing outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor and control access through designated entrances verify identification and/or visitor purpose when required and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership and follow post orders and reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
