Record to Report (R2R) hybrid role in Łódź

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles

  • Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or similar.

  • Experience in Shared Service Centers BPO or corporate accounting with knowledge of standard R2R processes.

Role Summary
The Record to Report (R2R) Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate timely and compliant financial reporting across the client organization. The role covers the full accounting cycle including journal entries ledger management reconciliations month-end close and financial analysis. R2R ensures financial data integrity and supports management with insights for decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities

MonthEnd / QuarterEnd / YearEnd Close

  • Execute endtoend month-end closing activities in line with corporate deadlines.

  • Prepare and post journal entries (accruals prepayments reclassifications provisions adjustments).

  • Perform balance sheet and P&L reviews analyze variances and identify root causes.

  • Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with internal controls SOX and accounting policies.

General Ledger Accounting

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are properly recorded.

  • Reconcile key accounts (cash intercompany accruals fixed assets payroll GR/IR etc.).

  • Manage intercompany processes: confirmations settlements discrepancy resolution.

  • Handle adjustments corrections and financial cleanup activities.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.

  • Deliver standard and ad-hoc management reports.

  • Ensure alignment with IFRS / US GAAP / local statutory requirements.

  • Support external and internal audits; prepare audit documentation.

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Identify opportunities to streamline R2R processes and increase automation.

  • Support standardization initiatives global templates and best practices.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (P2P O2C) to resolve issues.
