Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver in Bristow VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and data center location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide customer service through clear communication report concerns and support access control activities as needed. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license backed by teamwork integrity and innovative people-first service.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Respond to alarms access control issues suspicious activity and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and escalating per site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces building exteriors and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances gates and designated posts verifying credentials observing traffic flow and assisting with visitor check-in and/or badging processes as directed by site policy.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports communicate updates to supervisors and site contacts and support shift turnover with clear timely information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
