Security Officer Full-Time Overnight Patrol

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Overnight Patrol in Memphis TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site personnel and respond to incidents according to post orders while delivering customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings production areas tank farm and/or pipeline corridors parking areas and perimeter fencing documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and vehicle entries verify identification and delivery documentation manage visitor check-in and badge issuance and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed and completing required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns such as open gates damaged fencing lighting outages or suspicious activity and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
