Job Summary

ASSOCIATE SEARCH & STRATEGY

We are a boutique consulting firm specializing in services to the not-for-profit sector. We are based in Pasadena and have clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Our associates move seamlessly between our search and strategy projects one day performing research for a transformational plan and the next screening candidates for an organizations first Executive between they are intent on doing things other people might call admin work but we realize as the connective communication process-building and documentation that is necessary to execute and deliver this position you will report to the Director of Search Services directly on ongoing searches and our Directors of Strategy on merger and strategy projects. Eventually you will interact with candidates and clients alike. Our unique business requires someone with drive ownership and an evident dedication to getting the job done. We seek a talented individual who craves learning new skills and is unafraid to tackle big projects.

Sample Responsibilities:

ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION:

Schedule interviews and meetings across all lines of service.
Create surveys and compile results
Create meeting polls
Compile notes

TALENT:

Execute the interview and vetting process for candidates in our search pipeline.
Create client reports on recruiting and search efforts.
Analyze survey data to create competitive analyses candidate profiles and other reports.
Conduct organization stakeholder interviews.
Conduct phone screenings in-person interviews panel interviews offer negotiation and after placement coaching and reviews as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

STRATEGY:

Conduct focus groups and take notes as assigned.
Perform landscape research on various clients to determine like or similar organizations.
Create presentations and collateral in Canva or Powerpoint.
Take notes and create action plans for strategic committee meetings.

TECH:

Set up new jobs workflows tracking links and integrations in or
Manage project logistics and notes in
Create presentations and collateral in Canva or Powerpoint.
Take notes and create action plans for strategic committee meetings.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

Experience hospitality customer service or human resources.
Prior Nonprofit experience a plus
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment. Solid experience with Canva and MS Office (particularly MS Word & PowerPoint).Experience with or Hubspot is particularly helpful.
Dependable transportation a drivers license and insurance.
A sense of urgency.
A sense of humor.

COMPENSATION:

This is a full-time in-person position based in Pasadena California. Paid vacation sick and holiday time. Salary Range dependent on experience. Simple IRA with 2% employer contribution. Subsidized health insurance. Optional dental vision and disability.
