Job Summary

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact especially in PE Chestnut Park is seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning of PE across the school as well as in other subject areas helping to shape the educational experience of our wonderful pupils. Your opportunity

Working under the direction of the Headteacher the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting childrens learning ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons in PE and other subjects supporting children with a range of needs and committed to fostering a safe engaging and positive learning environment. As part of GLF Schools youll also benefit from opportunities for professional development and collaboration across a wider network of supportive professionals.

What we are looking for

  • Hold relevant qualifications including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification.
  • Have experience in delivering PE lessons to whole classes and supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Have experience in supporting and delivering whole class teaching in other curriculum areas
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies managing behaviour effectively and supporting pupils emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills including preparing resources maintaining pupil records and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities working well with colleagues children and parents.
  • Be motivated flexible and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

Salary: Specialist Point 1 - 27061 Outer London Weighting

Actual Salary: 22633.74 Outer London Weighting

Hours: 35hrs per week term time only.
