Summary
TheBusinessDevelopment Representative (BDR) is atemporary outbound-focused role responsible for initiating contact with prospective healthcare organizations through high-volume outreach. This role is primarily accountable for making60-75outbound dials per day to qualify prospects and schedule conversations for Business DevelopmentConsultants orDirectors who will lead full sales discussions and close opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is energized by outbound activity goal-driven work and buildingpipelinethrough disciplined outreach.
This is atemporary hourlyposition with the potential to extend or convert to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Outbound prospecting & appointment setting
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach (50-60dials per day) totargetedhealthcare prospects.
- Identifydecision-makers and assess basic qualification criteria.
- Communicate Calibers value proposition clearly and professionally to generate interest.
- Schedule qualified discovery or introductory calls for Business DevelopmentDirectorsor Consultants (8 meetings per month).
CRM & Pipeline management
- Accurately logall outreach conversations dispositions and follow-ups in CRM.
- Maintain organized andtimelylead records to ensure smooth handoffs.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with assigned Business DevelopmentDirectors to ensure alignment on qualification criteria and successful meeting handoff.
- Share prospect feedback and insights to improve outreach messaging and targeting.
Performance & Accountability
- Consistently meet or exceed daily activity expectations(50-60 dials)and monthly meeting targets(8).
- Participate in coaching feedback sessions and performance reviews.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;Bachelorsdegree preferred
- Prior experience in outbound sales customer service call center or appointment setting preferred
- Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience using CRM systems is a plus
- Self-motivated coachable and results-oriented
