JLL is seeking experienced Facilities professionals to support site decommissioning transitions and portfolio changes across our client accounts. This role provides hands-on on-site execution support during facility move-outs phased shutdowns and space transitions working closely with Project Development Services (PDS) service partners and client stakeholders.
This is an execution-focused role suited for leaders who thrive in dynamic environments can operate independently and are comfortable supporting complex change initiatives.
Provide day-to-day on-site support for facility decommissioning and transition activities
Support execution of site shutdown plans phased move-outs and turnover milestones
Assist with asset preparation isolation tagging and readiness for removal
Support FF&E staging coordination and removal activities
Assist with utility shutdowns and sequencing in coordination with project teams
Support inspections walk-throughs and turnover readiness
Provide hands-on field support to project managers and service vendors
Escort vendors and contractors and support on-site execution activities
Monitor work progress and flag issues risks or schedule conflicts
Serve as the on-site liaison between Facilities Operations and Project Teams
Support punch list resolution and close-out activities
Support site access control and day-to-day operational readiness during transitions
Monitor site conditions to ensure safety and compliance during teardown activities
Escalate risks issues and constraints in real time
Support coordination of janitorial waste and environmental services during transitions
Provide regular updates on site conditions progress and risks
Support documentation for transition and decommissioning activities
Partner with Regional / Area Facilities leadership to ensure alignment
5 years of experience in Facilities Management Engineering or Site Operations
Experience supporting facility decommissioning relocations or large-scale transitions preferred
Strong understanding of building systems vendor coordination and site operations
Ability to operate in fast-paced ambiguous environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working on-site and supporting field execution
Proficiency with CMMS tools (e.g. Corrigo) MS Office and collaboration platforms
Experience working alongside Project Management or Construction teams
Background in corporate office R&D or mixed-use facilities
Experience with phased shutdowns or portfolio consolidation initiatives
Familiarity with outsourced IFM delivery models
Bias toward action and execution
Strong ownership mindset
Ability to anticipate issues and act proactively
Comfortable balancing multiple workstreams
Calm under pressure and change
This role plays a critical part in enabling safe efficient facility transitions while protecting client operations budgets and timelines. It is a visible role with exposure to senior leaders project teams and clients and is ideal for Facilities leaders looking to broaden their experience beyond steady-state operations.
